About Emma
I have recently just completed my PhD in organic chemistry, where my own passions and research were centered on identifying new routes to drug synthesis that produce less wasted by-products. Going forward, I hope to attain a position as a junior lecturer and would love to begin developing my own teaching skills.

I am a firm believer in visual learning and try to encourage students to gain a deeper understanding of topics by expressing concepts in a pictorial fashion that makes sense for them. I advocate strongly for helping students to engage with learning materials, as opposed to just learning off written examples verbatim.
