About Lauren
I am an elementary education major at NC State university, and I am in my senior year. I have worked very hard to be where I am and can even help with things like college applications. I am happy to meet in the environment that works best for you or your student, whether that is virtual or in a public place such as a coffee shop or library. I will be student teaching from January to April, and graduating in May to be a full time teacher in August. I will work with both my schedule and that of you or your student to ensure the best tutoring experience.

I teach various methods for solving mathematics in arithmetic from standard form to expanded form and place value drawings, I am best in elementary levels as that is what I am trained for. I like to use approaches which allow a student to move around as well as learn the strategy that works best for them and ensuring that they understand the mathematics behind it. I really enjoy finding the method that works best for each individual student, and not one specific approach.
