About Aaliya
I have 3-4 years of experience, which has broadly been online teaching along with in-person one-on-one tutoring. I am very passionate about making learning an enjoyable collaborative experience, rather than a dull and tiring one.
I find that it is extremely important for younger students to use their time out of class to explore the world through their imagination, maintain hobbies and learn new skills to keep their minds active. This significantly fuels my minimal to no homework approach.
If students are having trouble keeping up or want to take on more work, I am always there for them as I feel the lesson planning should be acceptable to both parties. I debrief the students on the lesson plan for the day, week and month and make sure to get their feedback and consider any amendments they might have in mind.

Personalized lesson plans for each student, Flexible work hours, Regular Feedback Tests and Regulatory Tests, All Inclusive teaching methods.
- A preliminary class for familiarization and a curriculum based lesson plan for a single semester (2-3 months).

I began my online teaching during the COVID Season, which is when we first began to tackle online learning. We needed to adapt quickly and efficiently while also keeping the students engaged and on top of their class work and ready for their final examinations. I worked in many different ways to keep my students active by making classwork a collaborative effort, keeping homework to a minimum, and dedicating a day in the week for the students to take on the role of the teacher to discuss what they had learnt and understood from the previously studied topic.
