About Samantha
Hello! Thank you for taking for taking the time to read about me, my name is Samantha. My goal for everyone I have a tutored is to believe in them, trust me I know math and school is difficult but having someone to believe in your learnings can take you far and that's what I want in every student! Trust me I have also struggled in school from a young age and was shy to ask for help, once I did I started to believe in myself more and school started to feel more comfortable and I want to inspire students that just because school is difficult doesn't mean you can't do it! Im also employed for the past 5 years as a barista at a boba shop (I like to call us bobaristas), I enjoy being outdoors and playing with my dogs whenever im home and I also love the beach! As a big foodie, I love trying new restaurants and exploring different cultures food!

My approach in tutoring is making sure my students are comfortable in the material first and to show them yes, at first math seems hard and uncomfortable to learn but myself as a tutor having someone who believed in my learning made me want to try. Being comfortable in what you're learning always makes the material less intimidating, so a lesson plan with reviewing materials and starting off with level entry material always helps and lead to a successful math journey!
