About Jenny
I graduated with a degree in Physical Geography and then trained as a Geography teacher. I have taught Geography for 3 years to students between the ages of 11-18 with a particular focus on GCSE Geography. I have recently transitioned to a college environment, advising students on careers relating to Geography and other subjects as well as supporting students to develop their key skills.

Lessons should be informative but also enjoyable so I like to ensure this by using a variety of methods. I like to encourage discussion and questioning of geography to get different opinions and ideas. I use current case studies to support learning and encourage students to keep an eye on the news for interesting articles relating to Geography and the environment. I adapt my teaching style to support students needs for example, a lecture based approach, interactive learning through demonstration and facilitating self-learning and questioning.
