About Benjamin
I am a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering at Boston University and a MIDN in the Navy ROTC program, where I will commission as a Naval Officer following graduation. As a Dean's List student, I am dedicated to academic excellence and passionate about helping others succeed. My tutoring approach focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment, where students feel confident to ask questions and explore new concepts. As a tutor, I focus on making complex topics easier to understand by breaking them down into smaller, more manageable pieces. I use clear explanations, real-world examples, and hands-on problem-solving to help students really grasp the material. I work with middle and high school students interested in STEM, especially math, and adjust my approach to fit each person’s learning style. My goal is to help students build confidence and develop strong problem-solving skills, so they feel more capable and engaged with the subject, even when things get tough.
