About Marisa
I am a Brazilian English teacher very experienced, preparing students for the proficiency exams since 1980. I have a University degree in English Language and Literature. I love to teach grammar and structure of the language so that students get very well prepared to speak and write accurately. I am a very friendly teacher who loves to be in touch with foreign people and their culture.

My classes are always based on a text previously chosen by me and, from this text, we work all four skills: reading, listening, speaking, and comprehension. It is also the hook to get thee grammar point for the class. Further, being used to the students´ tastes I try to find texts that are interesting for them.
