Mr Ellery tutored our daughter so effectively that she was able to leave secondary school a year early at the end of Year 12 , to embark on a Law/Commerce bachelors degree at Auckland University! Without his help this simply would not have happened. We were extremely fortunate that Mr Ellery then agreed to tutor or son, whom he continues to tutor each week. Mr Ellery is first and foremost an academic. He offers a fun, kind and professional rapport to students. He works remotely or in person equally as successfully. He goes well beyond what we hope for, by setting homework and genuinely sparking interest and curiosity for our kids. He also tailors his approach extremely well for the individual, using case scenarios that are salient to the need of the tutee. Mr Ellery tutors our children high school maths, literacy, physics and general social sciences . Mr Ellery also teaches a lot about metacognitive learning skills, such as planning effectively for exams, handing in assignments, use of online teaching/learning-tools and meeting deadlines.
