About William
I graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London (RHBNC) with a BSc (Hons) in Zoology. Since completing my degree, I have maintained a lifelong passion for the natural world, keeping pace with advancements in animal biology, ecology, and evolutionary science.
In addition to my academic foundation in the sciences, I am an experienced freelance online tutor. Over the past several years, I have developed a strong framework for digital instruction, specializing in guiding students through complex concepts, refining their presentation skills, and fostering independent study strategies.
I pride myself on being highly adaptive, patient, and focused on helping students build true confidence in their academic abilities.
Whether you are looking to master foundational biological concepts or dive deep into advanced zoological topics, I bring both subject-matter expertise and proven online teaching methodology to every session.

My lessons are highly personalized and structured around each student's specific academic goals, whether you're preparing for school exams, university admissions, or simply exploring a personal interest in animal science.
I approach zoology (and biology more generally) by breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable concepts.
Because of my background in online teaching, I focus heavily on interactive discussion, targeted feedback, and building active recall strategies rather than simple memorization.
A typical session includes:
• A review of core concepts to identify and bridge any knowledge gaps.
• Interactive exploration of the topic using clear examples, and real-world biological contexts.
• Guided practice with exam-style questions or scientific analysis to build critical thinking.
• Strategic coaching on independent study habits so you feel supported outside of our lesson time.
I am happy to adapt the pace and focus of our sessions to match your learning style and level.
