About Mariana
I have a degree in Biological Sciences from UFRJ and I have a Master's degree in progress from the University of Coimbra (Portugal). During my internships, I had laboratory experiences, focused on microbiological, genetic and molecular knowledge. I taught in preparatory courses for high school contests and access to higher education (with in-depth biology content) and in schools (traditional and bilingual).

I am a Science / Biology teacher, I taught (in Portuguese and English) to children (from 7 years old), teenagers and adults. (EJA). For me, "MOTIVATION" is the right word! I am so interested in understanding how motivation changes our behaviors, that I wanted to study this in my Masters (I am in the process of concluding it) and I use it as a basis for my classes. Obviously, this is something adapted to the students' profile and their educational objectives - sometimes in the form of experiments, questions, debates or strategic summaries. The important thing is that I study with you and understand what will work best for you!
