About Amira
I am currently a 4th year dental student at King's College London. I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at A-level and achieved A*A*A; I also got an A in my EPQ!
I've always loved science subjects and I enjoy breaking concepts down to make them easier to understand. I have been officially tutoring for over a year, but have been teaching friends and relatives for over 4 years.
I hope to help you find that same love that I have for the sciences!

I have over a year's experience tutoring GCSE and A-level biology to a variety of students with a range of abilities. I tailor my lessons to the needs of each individual student and teach them in the way that will benefit them the most.
A method that I incorporate with all of my students is using diagrams and real-life examples to make concepts easier to understand. I pair this with techniques such as spaced repetition by providing quizzes at the beginning of each session. I will also link different topic areas together to help students develop a higher level of understanding of the subject as a whole.
I always supplement my teaching with exam question practice as this is the most important step to achieving higher grades.
I recommend 1hr lessons for GCSE students and 1hr30min lessons for A-level students.
