About Alston
I hold an educator certification from the State of South Carolina for students of all ages. I have worked with students from elementary school up through adulthood. My main goal when it comes to teaching music is to provide a setting where my students actively enjoy making music.

I have been teaching music for over 15 years in various settings. I am very flexible and can cater lessons to what you desire to learn. I am well-versed in music education and have served as a high school band director for the past 11 years. In addition to band, I have taught AP Music Theory, Guitar, and Music Appreciation.
