About Shabarni
I have my undergraduate and graduate degree in Microbiology. Following this I have over five years of experience in molecular biology, genetics and oncology research. I am currently pursuing my research in biomedical sciences with focus in proteomics.
I have been a teaching undergraduate students from various bioscience specialisations in different institutes in a part time capacity for over 5 years now, while actively pursuing my own academic and research career. I am well versed with current developments and have an understanding of how to make learning biosciences enjoyable. I can break concepts down into bite-sized chunks so that anyone from a school going student to an elderly person an understand the subject, in their best capacity.

I would like my students to understand the key fundamentals and concepts so that it is easy for them to understand how the science works at its basic levels. In my mind this makes complex problems very easy to grasp. I like using animations, sketches, analogies and real examples to make this process fun and easy to assimilate
