About Dottie
Hey there! My name is Dottie Foster and I am a recent graduate of the Royal Veterinary College in London. I previously studied at Texas A&M University where I received a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Science with honors. I have always been passionate about every aspect of veterinary medicine from the human-animal bond to pathophysiology to the role the agricultural industry plays in our society. Science has always been something that has absolutely fascinated me so I spent my undergraduate career pouring over books (as nerdy as that sounds) and working in research labs. However, I am not strictly interested in the STEM field, I had a minor in Spanish as well so I'm more than happy to answer any questions you might have. Outside of academics I love to be outdoors and hike as well as read (always looking for new book recommendations so feel free to send them my way). I can't wait to meet you!

I think that interactive teaching is the most effective manner of engaging students. I prioritize student's engagement through encouraging questions and open conversations about the array of topics. Some subjects are just harder for people to wrap their brain around but in my experience I have found that discussing material and at times even having students "teach" the material can be extremely beneficial in the consolidation process.
I am happy to tutor AP Biology and chemistry as well as high school anatomy. I also have experience teaching college level courses as well.
