About Arturo

I am a professional stage and studio drummer with formal academic training and real-world experience in live performances and recording sessions. In February, I will be performing at Lunario del Auditorio Nacional, one of Mexico’s most important venues, and I have been part of projects that have shared the stage with artists such as Los Amantes de Lola, Los Daniels, and Barney Gombo. I am also a member of the band Rotten, a project that has performed at large-scale festivals, including Hell & Heaven 2022. I offer drum lessons for all levels, from complete beginners with no prior experience to advanced drummers seeking a professional approach. My teaching focuses on music reading and writing, technique, groove, preparation for studio and live performance, and the development of a strong musical identity. I specialize in: Latin rhythms Trap and urban music Metal and extreme genres My lessons are clear, structured, and 100% personalized. Whether you want to learn drums from scratch or take your playing to a professional industry standard, you’re in the right place.

About the lesson

Online and in-person lessons available. Classes are focused on truly understanding the instrument and playing from the very first days. We work on technique and music theory, even if drumming is just a hobby for you. Don’t have a drum kit? No problem — I come to you.

Arturo's empathy, and dedication in explaining relevant concepts made these lessons easy to follow and understand. His professionalism and extensive knowledge in the field are another asset that ranks him among the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic teachers, which made happy and eager to expand my knowledge and deepen my understanding in this matter. As a sign of gratitude and encouragement, I have recommended him to my friends because his teaching method does not require prior knowledge, only willingness and interest on the part of the students; he does the rest.
I highly recommend his lessons, and I look forward to hearing about more projects and lessons in the future.
