About Alan
I am a dedicated educator with six years of professional experience teaching 5th-grade Science and Social Studies. Holding a degree in Education, I have spent the last few years of my career at Bayou Lacombe Middle School, where I've developed a passion for helping students navigate the transition into middle school academics.
Beyond the classroom, I am deeply involved in student growth, from starting a STEM club to coaching youth sports. My approach is rooted in patience and understanding, especially for students who may need a different perspective to grasp challenging material. I am committed to helping my community's students build the confidence and skills they need to excel.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student's specific learning style. With six years of experience in the classroom, I specialize in breaking down complex Science and Social Studies topics into manageable, interesting concepts.
Whether we are exploring historical events or diving into scientific phenomena, my goal is to build student confidence and academic mastery. I provide a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing the critical thinking skills they need to succeed in middle school and beyond.
