About Shafi
I am an Economics Lecturer with one year of teaching experience, along with around two years of professional experience in HR. I completed my MBA in 2024 and am currently pursuing my B.Ed alongside my teaching career.
I chose teaching because I wanted to become the kind of teacher I always wished I had as a student — someone who would not simply teach from a textbook, but patiently explain, encourage, understand and believe in every student.
I left a well-paying professional job to pursue teaching because I realized that I am more passionate about sharing knowledge and making a meaningful difference in someone's life. For me, teaching is not just about completing a syllabus or helping students score marks. It is about making difficult concepts easier, building confidence in students and helping them believe that they are capable of achieving more.
As an Economics teacher, my goal is to make the subject simple, practical and interesting, while giving every student the individual attention and guidance they need to improve. I want my students to leave my classes not only with better marks, but also with better understanding, confidence and the belief that their education can open doors towards a good future.

As an Economics Lecturer with one year of teaching experience and around two years of professional experience in HR, I bring both academic knowledge and strong communication and mentoring skills to my teaching. My approach is to make Economics simple, practical and easy to understand, especially for students who find the subject difficult or are struggling with the basics.
