About Sheng
I am an experienced Economics tutor with a strong background in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Statistics, and data analysis. I help university and high school students understand difficult economic concepts, solve problem sets, prepare for exams, and improve their academic performance.
I have worked with students from different programs and universities, and I understand that many students find Economics challenging because it combines theory, graphs, mathematics, and real-world analysis. My strength is explaining complex ideas in a clear, structured, and patient way.

I have more than ten years' experience in teaching economics, linear algebra, calculus, and statistics. My lessons are designed for university and college students who need clear, structured support in Economics. I help students understand key concepts, solve assignment problems, prepare for exams, and improve their confidence in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and related courses.
In each lesson, I first identify the student’s current difficulties, then explain the topic step by step using simple language, graphs, formulas, and practical examples. For quantitative topics, I can also help with problem-solving, interpretation of results, and data analysis using tools such as Stata and R.
My teaching style is patient, organized, and focused on making difficult economic ideas easier to understand. Lessons can be adapted to your course materials, assignments, lecture slides, or exam requirements.
