About Ritika

My interest in economics began when I started exploring how financial decisions affect both individuals and entire societies. During my academic studies, I became fascinated by how economic systems influence employment, production, and global trade. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Economics, where I studied topics such as economic policy, development economics, and market analysis in greater depth. Through these studies I developed a strong appreciation for how economic thinking helps explain complex social and financial structures.

Over the past 9 years of teaching, I have had the opportunity to guide many students as they develop their understanding of economics. My teaching approach focuses on creating a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable discussing ideas and asking questions. I believe that economics becomes easier to understand when learners explore examples from daily life, such as pricing decisions, business competition, or consumer behavior. By connecting theory with real-world situations, students gain a deeper understanding of the subject.

Outside teaching, I continue reading about economic research, global market trends, and financial policy discussions. These activities help me stay informed about developments in the field and bring relevant examples into my lessons. Teaching economics is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students understand the forces that shape modern economies. Watching learners grow more confident in analyzing economic ideas and discussing financial systems is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My economics lessons are designed to help students understand how economic ideas influence everyday life. Many students first encounter economics through textbooks, but the subject becomes clearer when they see how it connects to real situations. In our lessons, we begin with basic principles such as supply and demand, production, and resource allocation. I explain these ideas slowly and with clear examples so learners can understand how markets operate and why prices change over time. Through discussion and guided explanation, students start to see how economic forces shape decisions made by businesses, governments, and individuals.

As students progress, lessons begin to explore more complex economic topics. We study concepts such as market structures, economic growth, international trade, and government policy. I encourage students to analyze simple economic situations and discuss how different factors influence outcomes. These conversations help learners develop analytical thinking while strengthening their understanding of economic theory. Real-life examples from global markets and local economic activities are often included to make lessons meaningful and engaging.

My goal is to help students build confidence when studying economics and develop the ability to think critically about financial and social systems. Lessons focus on understanding ideas clearly rather than memorizing definitions. Over time students become comfortable explaining economic concepts in their own words and applying them to real situations. Economics becomes a subject that helps learners interpret the world around them with greater awareness and thoughtful reasoning.
