About Prinston
My name is Prinston, and I am a patient and supportive math tutor specializing in helping beginners and middle school students build strong, lasting foundations in mathematics.
I focus on making math simple, clear, and less intimidating by breaking down concepts into easy, step-by-step explanations. My goal is not just to help students get the right answers, but to truly understand how and why math works. I use practical examples, guided practice, and repetition to ensure students gain confidence and improve steadily.
Each lesson is structured and focused. We begin with a quick review of previous topics, move into learning new material in a clear and organized way, and then practice together before allowing the student to try independently with support. I always end with a short recap to reinforce understanding.
I adapt my teaching approach to each student’s pace and learning style, creating a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own speed.
I teach basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, and introductory algebra, with a focus on school-level math improvement and confidence building.
My aim is to help every student feel more capable, more confident, and more in control of their math journey.
