About Hanna
Hi, I'm Hanna! I'm an economics graduate with a BA in Economics and an MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School in London.
For the past few years I've worked in energy and commodity markets at TP ICAP, ENI and British Gas, in roles covering pricing, biofuels trading and weather derivatives. Every day I saw economics in action: supply and demand moving prices, government policy reshaping markets, and businesses managing risk. A big part of my work was explaining complex ideas in simple, practical terms to people with no specialist background, and that's what I love most.
I'm also a certified yoga teacher, and I lead group classes in London. Teaching has shown me that everyone learns differently, and that patience and encouragement make all the difference.
I want to teach economics because it explains so much about the world around us, and I'd love to help you feel confident and curious about the subject, not just ready for your exams.

My lessons are built around one goal: helping you truly understand economics, not just memorise it.
I start with a short first session to find out where you are: which topics feel confusing, how you like to learn, and what grade you're aiming for. From there, I create a plan that fits your exam board (AQA, Edexcel or OCR) and your timeline.
Each lesson usually lasts 60 minutes. We break down one or two key topics, such as supply and demand, market failure, elasticity or macroeconomic policy, using clear diagrams and real-world examples. Then we practise exam-style questions together, so you learn how to structure answers and pick up evaluation marks. I also share simple revision notes and worksheets after each session.
I hold a BA in Economics and an MSc in Energy, Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School, and I've worked in energy and commodity markets at TP ICAP, ENI and British Gas. That means I can show you how economics works in the real world, from energy prices to government policy, which makes the theory far easier to remember.
Lessons are for GCSE and A-level students, and adults who want to understand economics. Lessons are available in person in London or online.
