About Aseese
I find it extremely rewarding helping students through problems they may have no idea where to start. I believe a good, personable tutor can make a great difference in the ability and attitude towards a certain subject and therefore I aim to help students not only better their results, but also their confidence towards to the subjects inside and outside the classroom.
Having also been tutored, I am very aware how a one to one session can make a very hard concept seem easy, completely shifting how I approach exams and questions. I take it as my responsibility to ensure all students feel the same way and achieve the results I know they are capable of.
I have experience tutoring both GCSE and A-Level students and the marked improvement I have seen in their grades and motivation is extremely rewarding.

I believe in motivating and pushing students to reach their full potential in an environment that encourages them to be comfortable asking questions.
I like to uniquely tailor each session to the students’ needs and their preferences, making them more enjoyable but also effective in boosting confidence and grades.
Going through problems, progressing from the level the student is comfortable to slightly bigger challenges using past papers to reveal some areas the student finds more difficult is an effective method. In addition, breaking down each problem into smaller steps and developing a problem-solving strategy that can be applied to any exam question is an effective way to boost confidence and help students reach their maximum potential. Engaging in past exam questions is an effective way to ensure an overall understanding of a particular topic.
My typical length of lesson ranges between an hour to two hours, however I would be more than willing to take extra time with any student who still did not feel confident in the content we had covered once the lesson was over. I have worked as a tutor for 3 years in various Kumon branches, as well as privately tutoring GCSE and A-Level students. My lessons will cater to anyone who is studying Economics as GCSE and A-Level and anyone studying Maths from Year 7 to GCSE.
