About Carmela
I have a degree in Economics and Economic and Social Development and I have a master's degree in teaching. For 2 years I have been working as an ESO teacher of mathematics, economics and entrepreneurship in a center in Madrid. In addition, I have worked in summer schools (the last one very important given the need for school support derived from virtual education). I have been teaching private classes since 2016 for Secondary, Baccalaureate or even undergraduate students. In particular, math classes for ESO students and Economics classes for ESO and Baccalaureate (I also prepare for selectivity). All my students so far have passed their subjects and exams successfully.

I believe that the focus of teaching should be on learning-understanding and not memorizing-repeating, therefore my methodology is to help each student understand the subject and provide strategies or resources so that their way of learning is more effective. I respect the rhythms and ways of learning of each student, since the needs are different for each person. This implies not having a fixed methodology, but adapting to the characteristics of each profile (usually in the 1st free trial class this is what interests me the most). As a secondary school teacher, I am aware of how much this situation is affecting the student body, especially in courses with a blended modality. This is the reason why I want to make the classes an additional accompaniment space, not just a "passing aid".
