About Robert

I am a teacher/instructor who has taught music and history for over 20 years, both in private lessons and in the classroom. I have been teaching for over 20 years in higher education, as a subcontractor for school districts, and as a private tutor. I achieve results beyond the norm with students and feel that my skills are needed more than ever to help underserved students in the New Orleans area, an area that I have grown to love through its music, history, and, more importantly, its heart. I will make a difference in the future of this city through my teaching and will reinforce the cultural foundations that make this city and its citizens proud.

About the lesson

I create a fun and inviting online and in-class environment with interactive exercises designed to motivate and inspire students to achieve their scholastic goals. Whether it be in English, Music, or History, I deliver a concise curriculum that is designed for each individual student with clear goals - set by the student and Rob - to enable the maximum amount of learning in the shortest amount of time. Personable, knowledgable, organized, and empathetic. These are the qualities of a great teacher.
