About Danna Mae
With over seven years of ESL teaching experience across the Philippines, Japan, and the United States, I bring both formal training and real classroom expertise to every lesson. I hold a TEFL certification, a secondary English teaching license, and a graduate certificate in Language and Literacy Education.
I have worked with learners of all ages and levels, from elementary students to working professionals, in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My lessons are structured, encouraging, and tailored to each student's goals. I am committed to helping you communicate in English with clarity, accuracy, and confidence.

Teaching Method
I tailor every lesson to the student's goals and learning style, using real-life contexts like job interviews, academic writing, and presentations to make English practical and immediately useful.
A Typical Lesson
We warm up with conversation, focus on a targeted skill, practice with feedback, and close with clear goals for next time. Lessons are structured but relaxed enough that students feel comfortable making mistakes.
What Sets Me Apart
Seven years of classroom and one-on-one ESL experience across three countries. I have prepared students for university entrance exams, employment interviews, and speech contests, with two students placing 1st and 3rd competitively. I have also designed and taught Project-Based Learning lessons in English for Tourism and facilitated English debate classes for ESL learners at the high school level.
