About Antonio

I worked for over 35 years in national and international companies in the telecommunications sector (equipment/service providers and telecommunications operators) always in the technological aspect, either in roles of implementation, installation and testing of solutions, or in roles of team coordination , or in consulting roles.
I am currently retired from these functions with a desire to resume an activity that I had already exercised as a university student and at the beginning of my business career, teaching mathematics until the 12th year of schooling. The experience I gained in the meantime allows me now to give examples of practical application of various topics that facilitate their understanding and motivate students in the learning effort. I also noticed that there is a great need to expand knowledge in the use of mobile computing units (aka mobile phones) that accompany us everywhere. I have been dedicating these sessions to an older audience in a way that is very adapted to the needs of each individual.

About the lesson

For the Mathematics classes, the adopted textbooks are followed and the presentation of examples that apply to the labor market is privileged, whenever possible.

Computer classes are particularly dedicated to an adult audience, with a strong focus on mobile computing (smart phones) and its applications.

O António é um conhecedor da arte de bem ensinar e motivar. Torna as aulas imperdíveis e é com gosto e vontade de melhorar que se aprendem novas abordagens e caminhos. A Matemática não tem de continuar a ser uma disciplina difícil ou entediante por não a percebermos, ou uma "seca" porque quem a ensina não tem o dom de a simplificar e de a tornar acessível e SUPER interessante.
