About Jordan
I am a college student majoring in Elementary Education, with a strong foundation in effective teaching strategies and child-centered learning. My academic training focuses on how students learn best, allowing me to explain concepts clearly, patiently, and at an age-appropriate level. I approach tutoring with professionalism, organization, and a genuine commitment to student growth.
I believe that confidence is key to academic success. My goal is to help students feel capable and supported by breaking lessons into clear steps, encouraging questions, and providing consistent positive feedback. I tailor each lesson to the individual learner, adjusting my approach to meet their needs and learning style.

A typical lesson plan
A typical lesson begins with a quick check-in to understand what the student is working on and what feels challenging. We then review the topic together using examples and visuals when helpful. I guide the student through practice problems or reading strategies, gradually encouraging them to try independently. At the end of the lesson, we review what was learned and highlight progress, so students leave feeling successful and motivated.
