Deadly! Sofia was immensely helpful, patient, and able to explain the concepts of Pre-Calculus to me in a way that was actually understandable—something that the assignments I’d been provided lacked. I struggled with spatial awareness and have a lot of bad history with school that made engaging with these kinds of assignments in the past very difficult. And even then, she was able to explain things such as graphs, Pythagorean Theorem, logarithms, etc. to me in a way I understood and was even able to enjoy. I’m AuDhD with ongoing C-PTSD, however she was very patient with any needs or setbacks that I had and was willing work alongside me in this regard. I would 100% recommend her as a tutor and if there ever comes another time I run into a math course I struggle with, I’d definitely hope to work with her again!

1) She does her homework and always comes to the class prepared.
2) When we worked on Venn diagram, she prepared practice questions of ascending difficulties. She started with the easiest and gradually led my daughter to a deeper and deeper thinking.
3) She goes above and beyond and associates current topic with future concepts. e.g. right after Venn diagram, she started to introduce concepts of probabilities, in a natural and intuitive way.
