Students must be engaged to maximize learning potential. I believe that as a teacher it is my job to make curriculum and content relevant to the individual. Learning has to be fun. Whether I teach in front of a class or I am working one on one with a student I always make it a top priority to identify interests and passions and incorporate them into the lesson.
