My name is Barney and I am passionate about Maths. My teachers would always say I don't just do Maths, I enjoy Maths, and this is true.
I hope to pass on this passion for maths to all my students, and the joy of finding a solution to a problem!
I achieved A in GCSE Maths, and A* in A level Maths, as well as A in A level Further Maths.

When it comes to maths the best way to learn is via problems. The more problems you can solve the better you understand the method. I concentrate on walking through maths problems with students and explaining every step and ensuring they understand. Maths is not always a 'one explanation fits all' subject and there are different ways of explaining the same thing. Finding the one that works best for each student is key.
