About Maryam
Hi there! I'm Maryam, and I'm here to make GCSE Maths and Physics feel less overwhelming and a lot more achievable. I’m currently studying my Master’s in Engineering Management at Queen Mary University of London. Before that, I completed my Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering back home in Pakistan. So, I've spent years working with numbers, solving tough problems, and learning how to break down complicated ideas into simpler ones — and that’s exactly what I bring into my tutoring sessions. If formulae look like a foreign language or Physics just doesn’t seem to click, you’re not alone — and that’s where I come in. I take the time to understand how you learn best, and I tailor each session to your pace and style. My lessons are interactive, encouraging, and built to help you really understand the “why” behind the “what” — not just memorise steps. Whether you’re aiming to pass with confidence or aiming for those top grades, I’m here to support you every step of the way — with patience, clarity, and just enough challenge to keep you growing.

I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Engineering Management and have a strong academic background in Maths and Physics. My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and exam-focused. I break down complex topics into simple, understandable steps and use real-world examples to make abstract concepts easier to grasp. Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, starting with a quick recap, followed by focused teaching, practice questions, and a summary. I adjust my pace based on the student’s confidence and needs, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions at any point. I have experience working with GCSE students (ages 14–16), and I specialise in helping them strengthen problem-solving skills, understand exam techniques, and boost confidence in GCSE Maths and Physics. My lessons are ideal for students preparing for their GCSEs, whether they need help catching up or want to aim for top grades.
