About Max
I am a first-year engineering student, aspiring to go into aerospace engineering. I have past experience as a high school math tutor and have worked with grades K-6 as a science camp counselor. During high school, I took a variety of both AP and IB classes, scoring a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam and a 6 on the IB Math Analysis and Approaches SL. I still continue to pursue math now in university. I am enthusiastic about sharing my knowledge in the STEM field and helping other students feel more confident in their math skills.

Work where the student is at to help them reach where they should be at. Will work with students on their homework and additional problems to strengthen their own understanding. At the start of a lesson, will talk with students about what is happening during class, where they may feel confused, then work through problems and challenge their own learning. Once students have mastered a concept, they will teach it back to me to further support and strengthen their understanding. Experienced in working with K-12 students, with an emphasis on high school level math.

Deadly! Max is friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Our lesson was her first using the Pencil tools in Superprof, but she was really flexible and came prepared with a lesson sheet for my son and she was open to understanding the way he learns best.
