About Annamaria
My name is Annamaria and I am an Italian-American girl MOTHER TONGUE English (American). I have been living in Italy for 11 years and I love teaching English with all my heart. I'm from the state of New Jersey and I'm proud of it. My grandparents were from Corato, Bari, Puglia and I am also proud of my origins. My lesson will take place like this. I start with a warm-up to facilitate the transition from Italian to English. At the first lesson, I will evaluate the level of English, the conversation, and the most difficult grammatical concepts to remove any doubts or misunderstandings. Then I would do some exercises with the grammar student. The other half I will focus more on the spoken and how to APPLY the grammar studied in the lesson in the spoken. I have experience with both children, teenagers, and adults. I graduated from John Cabot University in Italian and English. I have more than ten years of experience and have worked in both private and public schools in Italy. I teach English with enthusiasm and am honored to help my students. Those who can speak another language are open to more job opportunities, but also to another culture and way of thinking. I have prepared students for the KET, PET, B2, C1, C2 exams. My approach is communicative, because the purpose of learning a language is just that, COMMUNICATE!
