About Beatriz
With conversation as the guiding principle for English learning, my methodology involves an interdisciplinary approach to teaching the four English skills: speaking, writing, listening, and reading. When learning a new language, the possibilities are endless; the fundamental understanding of the relationship between language and culture opens doors to all types of classroom structures. As a soon-to-be graduate in Pedagogy from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, I value encompassing all the different learning processes, aiming for light-hearted encounters and a strong connection with the language.

As a Pedagogy major at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, to me education is serious business. Fluent from a very young age, I connected with and learned English through music: I tried to understand the lyrics, always trying to sing along, and spent endless hours listening. For me, there's always a connection between what a student loves and English, allowing them to explore aspects of their personality, hobbies, and work while learning. I've worked at several English schools, with all ages, and also taught private lessons, both in-person and remotely.
