I taught High School English, History and many other subjects for 18 years. For 7 years I have specialized in English as a Second/Foreign Language. Learning is an adventure. It should be interesting and fun not boring! There are so many teaching techniques...and lecturing is NOT one of them!

Students don't all learn in the same way: so many of us are visual and hands-on learners and find it difficult to just listen to the teacher or read a textbook and remember information.
