About Lucy
I am a Geography graduate from the University of Bristol (BSc) and have a Master’s in Environment and Development from the University of Copenhagen (MSc). I have experience teaching at postgraduate level, including at the University of Copenhagen and as a guest lecturer at New York University.
Furthermore, I have worked in climate policy and research, investigating how companies influence government policy. My findings have been shared with policymakers, investors, and journalists.
This experience informs my tutoring, demonstrating how strong writing and clear argumentation have a real-world use, encouraging students to see the power of these skills beyond exams. I am also well-equipped to help students develop strong arguments, use evidence effectively, and improve their research and writing skills.

I focus on helping students write stronger essays. We start with your work and improve it step by step. There’s a clear formula behind good essays, and I teach you how to use it so you can get higher marks and feel more confident.
Lessons are typically one hour, with longer sessions available, and are aimed at A-level and university students.
I have experience teaching and mentoring at postgraduate level, including assisting with teaching at the University of Copenhagen and guest lecturing at New York University.
