About Christina
Hello! I'm Christina. I grew up in the United States and I have been an English language teacher and teacher trainer for 7 years.
I'm half Greek and half Korean, so I speak Greek fluently, but my Korean skills are not so good. I also studied Spanish extensively many years ago, so I can understand a lot but don't speak well.
I received my master's degree in TESOL from the University of Central Florida and worked as a university professor in South Korea.
I was recently accepted to a PhD program in Applied Linguistics and will begin in Fall 2025.
I specialize in English listening, speaking and vocabulary. I am a certified OPIc rater. I also specifically tutor for the TOEFL and IELTS.

I have also studied and learned languages myself, so I understand the learner experience.
I'm most experienced with teaching university students and working adults but can work with children, too.
