About Maherah
I am currently studying Aerospace Engineering (MEng), attaining a 90% in Maths modules during university. Maths has always been something I enjoy and have had an interest in, I understand that it is not always the easiest topic but I have learnt how to make it into an easier subject, a method that I have taught to many students.

When helping a student in maths, I consider three main factors, their learning style, their familiarity and which level they are in. These factors help me plan a lesson tailored to their needs and learning style to ensure that they receive the most out of each session. Feeling confident after each session, knowing that they have learnt more. I also set homework to help consolidate knowledge, set practice papers and write session reviews to keep track of progress and allow the parents to view what the student has done. As an aerospace engineering student, I enjoy the complexities of Maths and understand the concepts behind each topic, and help students understand the same. I, also, acknowledge that all students learn at different paces and find difficulty in different topics, and I will help every student to be confident in every topic of Maths. Typically, lessons range from 50-75 minutes depending on the topic, and the student's familiarity. Taught over 10 groups on a one-to-one basis and larger groups, from primary to A-level.
