About Zachary Tak Ming
Hi everyone! My name is Zach and I recently completed my MSc in Security Studies here at UCL in London. I am originally from Vancouver, Canada, where I received my BA in Political Science & History at the University of British Columbia. My background has been a bit unorthadox, as I've worked professionally all through my studies: I have a wide range of experience from law enforcement to finance, and even in the environmental/conservation sector. Academically, my specialties are in political science, IR, history (particularly African), and economics to a lesser extent. Beyond my basic studies I've been tutoring on and off for about 3 years primarily to lower year undergrads and served as an editor for an academic journal. I hope to turn these skills into valuable instruction for you.
Lastly, I like to think I'm a laid back person with a good sense of humour!
