About Gianna
I am a student of Natural Sciences at UCL in which I specialise in Organic chemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology. I am currently in my 4th year of studies and I will graduate with an MSci degree in June 2020.
I have consistently achieved high academic marks in my modules and I am on course to graduate with a 1st class degree. Furthermore, I have experience working in biological sciences laboratories through summer internships and a 4th-year research project.
I have had voluntary experience teaching school students basic genetics and microbiology at a science fair. This required me to present scientific concepts in a clear and accessible manner and I had to adjust my scientific vocabulary according to the ages of the students.
I have experience teaching English in China which culminated in a TEFL award. I am capable of teaching English as a foreign language to students of all abilities.
I am a hard-working, well-organised student and passionate about my studies, which is reflected in my enthusiasm to teach and assist others in achieving their academic goals.
