About Tom
My decision to teach comes from my own experience of how transformative it can be to have a teacher who makes learning enjoyable - especially in physics. I realized this during my A-levels, when my physics teacher’s enthusiasm made the subject come alive for me. That’s the same approach I want to bring to our sessions: making physics engaging and accessible for you.
I am a first-class Environmental Sciences (Hons) graduate from the University of Manchester, where I specialized in atmospheric physics. One of my research projects has been published, and my dissertation earned an accredited award.
I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping you find joy in learning physics, just as my teacher did for me.

My goal as a tutor is to help you reach a point where learning physics becomes enjoyable, rather than feeling like a chore! Whether you're aiming to pass or striving for that top grade (9/A*), I'm here to support you.
I offer lessons for all ages, whether you're studying for your GCSEs or A-levels. In addition to covering the curriculum, I can help you with homework assignments and guide you through successfully writing up required practicals.
Together, we'll work through clear explanations, demonstrations, and personalized questions designed just for you. Our sessions can be tailored to your needs and are available in 1 or 2-hour formats, depending on what suits you best.
