About Frances
I am an esl teacher/musician/actor, and got my BA in drama and women studies. I’ve worked as a camp counsellor for kids, and have taught ESL to kids, teens and adults. I enjoy creating a motivating and fun environment with music, theatre, games and practical book work.

My teaching methods are based around learning the student’s interests and learning style, then using practical and creative methods to help the student understand each concept and evaluate the knowledge learned. If a student isn’t understanding a particular concept, I enjoy finding a different pedagogical method to clarify their understanding.
