About the lesson
I am very passionate about teaching English as a Second Language/Foreign Language. I hold B.A. in teaching English as a Foreign Language, M.A. in American literature, CELTA Cambridge qualifications, QTS, Speech and Language qualifications and DBS.
I am very enthusiastic about learning other languages(I know Spanish as well) , thus I have an excellent understanding of the process of the second language acquisition. I can understand that students may feel frustrated when they encounter some obstacles in their learning or may feel barriers when they start speaking English for the first time. I am able to make the best teaching resources and choose the methods tailored to the needs of students. I possess a great knowledge about the educational system in the UK and great experience in teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) children and ESOL adults. I am very happy to help to go through the process of learning and discover also an enjoyable side of learning English. As a result, students will feel more confident and motivated while learning English. I use a variety of methods and I love using role-plays as they prepare students for real life situations and are suitable both for adults and children.
I am very keen on psychology, self-development, foreign languages, books, writing poems, poem fables for children and short novels. Thus, I am able to transfer all my interests into teaching so that it can be even more interesting and enjoyable. One of the evidences of that, is my experience running a book club in a primary school where I was doing a lot of activities with children (role-plays, creative writing, arts and many more).
Teaching is very rewarding for me and I am ready to do my best to make your ‘journey’ through English as enjoyable and easy as possible.

I have been tutoring since 2004. I have taught hundreds of students.
One of my greatest achievements in the UK is 1:1 work with an EAL 8-year-old girl who didn’t speak English at all when I started working with her. I was working with her for more than 2 years. Using a variety of teaching methods and very interesting materials (a lot of visuals, real objects, videos, presentations, role-plays, dancing to the educational songs, arts), I managed to teach her English and now she is very confident about using English language. Another successful example of teaching English is from Poland. I was helping an 18-year-old girl to prepare for an exam (an A-level equivalent) , teaching her grammar, speaking (real life situations), listening and reading. The level of the language which we were working on could be compared to the one on which adults work to achieve confidence and fluency while dealing with everyday situations in the UK.
Through working with Agnieska i have consistently seen her as a hardworking and passionate individual who has an ability to connect and teach.
As a friend she is a caring and a positive person to be around always willing to lend a helping hand or give advice.
I highly recommend Aga as a tutor as i have worked with her for over three years in education. She is dedicated, experienced, knowledgeable in teaching english and has an ability to make learning fun.
