About Reid

My passion for Excel began through working with data-driven environments where organisation and accuracy matter deeply. I completed an M.Sc in Business Analytics, which strengthened my understanding of how spreadsheets support decision-making, reporting, and professional problem-solving. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students, office workers, and researchers develop Excel skills that feel practical, empowering, and immediately useful.

I believe Excel should be taught with patience and clear structure. My approach focuses on understanding patterns, learning tools step by step, and building confidence through repetition and real application. I enjoy guiding learners who feel intimidated at first, showing them that Excel becomes simple once the logic is understood. Lessons are always personalised, so students progress at a pace that feels comfortable and motivating.

Outside of tutoring, I stay connected to modern data tools, reporting methods, and productivity strategies. Teaching Excel is meaningful to me because it provides learners with a skill that supports independence and growth. Watching someone go from confusion to confident control of spreadsheets is one of the most satisfying parts of my work.
