About Joni

I discovered my passion for Excel while working on data-intensive projects during my B.Sc in Computer Information Systems. Over 7 years of teaching, I have refined a structured, patient approach that emphasizes clarity, practical application, and hands-on learning. I focus on helping students become confident, independent users who can navigate spreadsheets efficiently. I adapt lessons to individual needs, using visual aids, guided exercises, and real-world examples to strengthen comprehension. I emphasize understanding logic behind formulas and functions, helping students approach data challenges creatively and strategically. Outside the classroom, I explore new Excel tools, automation techniques, and data visualization methods. Sharing these insights keeps lessons current and engaging. Watching students grow from hesitant beginners to confident, skilled Excel users remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.

About the lesson

Excel becomes a versatile tool when learners understand both its structure and practical applications. My lessons cover formulas, functions, pivot tables, charts, data visualization, and automation, with step-by-step guidance that builds confidence and independence. I focus on helping students analyze, organize, and present data efficiently, making spreadsheets approachable and meaningful. Each session emphasizes hands-on practice, logical flow, and real-world relevance to ensure learners can immediately apply their skills.

Lessons are tailored to proficiency levels. Beginners focus on basic spreadsheet navigation, formatting, and formulas. Intermediate learners develop skills with functions, conditional formatting, data validation, and charts. Advanced students explore pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, and workflow automation. Every class balances guided exercises with independent problem-solving to promote mastery and confidence.
