About Kira

My interest in Excel developed while working with data-heavy tasks that required accuracy and organisation. I earned a BBA in Business Analytics, where I learned how spreadsheets support analysis, planning, and communication. Over the past 7 years, I have helped learners from diverse backgrounds develop confidence in using Excel effectively.

I believe Excel should feel approachable, not intimidating. My teaching style emphasises clarity, patience, and practical application. I adapt lessons to individual goals, whether learners are focused on work efficiency, academic tasks, or personal organisation.

Outside teaching, I continue refining my skills through data projects and workflow optimisation. Teaching Excel is rewarding because students quickly see progress and real-world impact. Helping learners gain confidence with data is a meaningful part of my work.

About the lesson

Excel lessons focus on helping learners move from basic spreadsheet use to confident, structured data handling. I guide students through essential tools such as formulae, functions, cell referencing, conditional formatting, and clean data organisation. Each lesson is designed to feel practical and immediately useful, showing how Excel supports real tasks like budgeting, tracking, reporting, and simple analysis. Concepts are introduced gradually so learners feel comfortable experimenting without fear of making mistakes.

As learners advance, lessons explore pivot tables, lookup functions, charts, dashboards, and logical formulae that support decision-making. Students practise working with real-style datasets and learn how to structure sheets for clarity and accuracy. I emphasise understanding how data flows across a worksheet rather than memorising commands. Guided practice and repetition help build speed, confidence, and independence.

Excel lessons also strengthen attention to detail and logical thinking. Many students gain confidence as they realise they can manage data clearly and efficiently. My goal is to help learners feel in control of information and capable of presenting insights with clarity and confidence.
