About Blair
My journey with Excel began during academic research and professional projects where clear data interpretation was essential. This experience motivated me to pursue a B.Sc in Management Information Systems followed by an M.Sc in Business Intelligence, allowing me to develop strong analytical and organizational expertise. Over the past 13 years, I have guided learners from basic spreadsheet use to advanced analytical confidence through patient and structured instruction.
I believe Excel should be taught with clarity and empathy, as many learners initially feel overwhelmed by formulas and large datasets. My teaching style focuses on breaking tasks into logical steps and explaining not only how a function works, but why it is useful. I encourage learners to ask questions freely and build confidence through consistent practice.
Beyond teaching, I remain actively engaged with data analysis tools, reporting systems, and evolving Excel features. This continuous learning helps me keep lessons current and relevant. Teaching Excel is deeply rewarding because I see learners develop confidence, independence, and pride as they master a valuable real-world skill.
