About Arnav
My journey with Excel began during my studies in Information Systems, where I discovered how structured data could simplify complex decisions. Completing a B.Sc in Information Systems helped me understand both technical tools and logical workflows. Over 9 years of teaching, I have worked with students and professionals who initially felt intimidated by spreadsheets. Helping them move from confusion to confidence has been a consistent and rewarding experience.
I approach teaching with patience and adaptability. I understand that learners come with different goals and levels of comfort, so I adjust explanations accordingly. I focus on building understanding rather than shortcuts, ensuring learners know why formulas work. This builds independence and long-term confidence. I also emphasize accuracy and clarity, which are essential in real-world data use.
Outside teaching, I continue working with reporting tools, data organization systems, and productivity methods. This keeps my lessons practical and relevant. Teaching Excel is fulfilling because it gives learners a skill they can use immediately. Seeing students gain control over their data and workflow is one of the most satisfying parts of my role.
