About Benjamin
Actuary by training and have worked in two of the world's top consultancies in actuarial, corporate finance and management consulting roles.
I wrote and delivered the VBA training course for the actuarial team I worked in and was widely regarded as the go-to person for Excel questions!
I have also written and delivered PowerPoint/slide writing training including how to navigate PowerPoint itself as well as the best ways to lay out a slide, how to present data, how to use visualisations, etc.

I prefer to teach towards a target output/objective e.g. something you want to build or will need to be able to do at work. It makes it more structured and focused versus just learning formulae and functions one by one with no specific end goal in mind.
For longer-running programmes, I set "homework" (some progress target to accomplish by the next session) as touching a topic only once a week in our session is typically not enough to progress at a good pace.

Deadly! Helpful and quick to respond
Deadly! Couldn’t have asked for a better tutor. Benjamin was very professional and reliable, he provided many easily understandable resources and tailored each lesson very accurately. He managed to help me pass my university final exam in less than a week and I honestly can’t thank him enough.
