About Rebecca
Hi! I’m Becca, and I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and success in math. I offer one-on-one tutoring for grades 1–8, focusing on creating a positive learning experience where kids can feel supported and capable. I bring a unique mix of analytical and creative teaching experience — with 7 years as a Cost Analyst for the U.S. Air Force and over 11 years teaching dance (mainly tap) to students ages 5–18. My background has taught me how to break down complex concepts into simple, engaging steps that make learning click. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and a Master of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics, both of which are from UMass Lowell. My goal is to make math less intimidating and more enjoyable — one problem at a time!

With 7 years of experience as a Cost Analyst for the U.S. Air Force and 11 years of dance education experience (primarily teaching tap to students ages 5–18), I bring a unique mix of structure, patience, and creativity to learning.
